LAHORI FISH FRY | Spicy Fried Fish

LAHORI FISH FRY | Spicy Fried Fish | سمك لاهوري فراي | लाहौरी फिश फ्राई | DECCAN’S PAKWAN

Ingredients
1. Fish: 500g
2. Lemon juice: 1
3. Salt: 1 tsp
4. Ginger & Garlic Paste: 1 tsp
5. Crushed Coriander Seed: 1.5 tsp
6. Crushed Red Chilli: 1 tsp
7. Cumin Powder: ½ tsp
8. Garam Masala Powder: ¼ tsp
9. Turmeric: 1 tsp
10. Orange Food Colour: ¼ tsp
11. Carom Seed (Ajwain): ½ tsp
12. Red Chili Powder: 1tsp
13. Black Pepper Powder: ½ tsp
14. Kasuri Methi: 1tsp
15. Besan: 2tbsp

Process
1. First apply lemon juice, salt & Ginger & Garlic Paste to fish.
2. Mix all dry ingredients & apply to fish.
3. On another plate make a besan paste and apply it to fish.
4. Marinate for about half an hour.
5. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying on medium flame.
6. Place the fish in oil side by side fry for about 2-3 min on a medium flame.
7. Fry on medium heat for 3 mins on one side and turn it on the other side. Continue to fry on medium heat for another 3 mins on the other side.
8. Flip again and reduce heat to low. Fry it on low heat for 2 mins.
9. Turn the steaks one last time and fry them on low heat for 2 mins till evenly brown.
