Restaurant Style CHICKEN MANCHURIAN | دجاج منشوري | चिकन मंचूरियन | DECCAN’S PAKWAN

Ingredients
1. Onion Petals: 1 cup
2. Green capsicum (diced): 1 cup
3. Red Bell pepper (diced):1 cup
4. Yellow Bell pepper (diced): 1 cup
5. Carrot (Julienned): ½ cup
6. Chilli Garlic sauce- 2 tsp
7. Soy sauce: 2 tsp
8. Tomato Ketchup: 2 tbsp
9. Hot Sauce: 2 tsp
10. Black Pepper Powder: ½ tsp
11. Corn flour: 1tbsp
12. Oil: 60ml

For the marination:
1. Boneless Chicken: 400g
2. Salt: ½ tsp
3. Black Pepper powder: ½ tsp
4. Ginger Garlic paste: 1 tsp
5. Egg White: 1
6. Corn flour: 2 tbsp
For Tempering:
1. Garlic (Crushed): 7-8 cloves
2. Ginger (Chopped): 2 tsp
3. Green Chillies (Chopped): 2

Process
1. Marinate the chicken with the items indicated. Mix well and set aside for 30 mins.
2. Peel and chop the ginger & garlic and chop the green chilies.
3. Dice the onion, green and red pepper.
4. To fry the chicken pieces, heat oil till medium hot and drop the battered chicken pieces one at a time. Fry on medium heat for 5-6 mins till golden. Remove and keep on a plate.
5. Now take a kadhai & heat 2 tbsp oil.
6. Add the chopped garlic & ginger and stir for 15 secs. Now add the green chilies and continue to fry for 30 secs.
7. Add the diced Onion, green, yellow, red peppers & julienned carrots, mix & stir fry the vegetables on high heat for a minute.
8. Now add the soy sauce, tomato ketchup, mix & stir fry on high heat for 15 secs.
9. Add the black pepper powder & stir fry on high flame.
10. Add fried chicken pieces and mix & stir fry on high flame for 1 min till these are coated by the sauce.
11. To make Corn flour slurry: 1 tbsp corn flour mixed in 3 tbsp water
12. Add the corn slurry, mix & stir fry for 30 secs.
13. Garnish with Coriander leaves serve.
