BUTTER CHICKEN | बटर चिकन | بٹر چکن | DECCAN’S PAKWAN
Ingredients
For Chicken Marination
- Chicken boneless : 300 gms
- Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for Frying
- Curd : 3 tsp
For Gravy - Tomatoes ( Roughly slit ) : 500 gms
- Onions (Roughly cut ) : 1
- Cashew (Kaju) : 50 gms
- Kasuri Methi : 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder
- Kashmiri Chilli Powder : 2 tbsp
- Butter : 5tbsp
- Cream : 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Ginger : 1 inch
- Garlic : 5-6 clove
Process
- Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, Curd and salt and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken pieces on both sides till golden brown.
- In other pan add onion, oil, a spoonful of butter and once the onions are cooked add tomatoes and cashew nuts
- Add some water and garlic, Ginger, salt, garam masala powder, and chili powder. Evenly mix it and let it simmer for 10 minutes
- Put the mixture in a blender/grinder and blend till smooth Paste.
- Strain it into a bowl using a strainer.
- Add butter, cream, chicken and kasoori meethi and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish it with cream
Butter Chicken is ready to be served!
