SIMPLE CHICKEN CURRY for BEGINNERS & BACHELORS | مرغی کا سالن | चिकन ग्रेवी | DECCAN’S PAKWAN

  1. Chicken: 500 g
  2. Onion,chopped: 1 big
  3. Ginger & Garlic paste 1tsp
  4. Tomatoes, chopped: 3 medium
  5. Green chillies,chopped: 3 nos
  6. Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
  7. Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
  8. Kashmiri chilli powder: 1 tsp
  9. Chicken Masala/curry powder: 1tbsp
  10. Pink Salt: 1tsp
  11. Garam Masala: ½ tsp
  12. coriander leaves: ½ cup
  13. Oil: 4 tbsp

Process:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions.
  2. Fry on high heat till brown in colour.
  3. Add the ginger garlicpaste and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
  4. Now add the chicken pieces and fry on high heat for 2-3 mins till the chicken pieces are browned.
  5. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
  6. Add the turmeric powder and mix & fry on medium heat for around 3 mins till tomatoes are soft.
  7. Add the readymade chicken masala, red Chilli powder and salt, mix cook on high heat for 3 mins. Continue to fry on medium heat for another 3 mins.
  8. Now add 1cup water and cook on low heat for around 20 mins till the chicken pieces are tender and oil separates.
  9. Add Garam masala and coriander.

Serve with roti / rice.
