SIMPLE CHICKEN CURRY for BEGINNERS & BACHELORS | مرغی کا سالن | चिकन ग्रेवी | DECCAN’S PAKWAN
- Chicken: 500 g
- Onion,chopped: 1 big
- Ginger & Garlic paste 1tsp
- Tomatoes, chopped: 3 medium
- Green chillies,chopped: 3 nos
- Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
- Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder: 1 tsp
- Chicken Masala/curry powder: 1tbsp
- Pink Salt: 1tsp
- Garam Masala: ½ tsp
- coriander leaves: ½ cup
- Oil: 4 tbsp
Process:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions.
- Fry on high heat till brown in colour.
- Add the ginger garlicpaste and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
- Now add the chicken pieces and fry on high heat for 2-3 mins till the chicken pieces are browned.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
- Add the turmeric powder and mix & fry on medium heat for around 3 mins till tomatoes are soft.
- Add the readymade chicken masala, red Chilli powder and salt, mix cook on high heat for 3 mins. Continue to fry on medium heat for another 3 mins.
- Now add 1cup water and cook on low heat for around 20 mins till the chicken pieces are tender and oil separates.
- Add Garam masala and coriander.
Serve with roti / rice.
