BANGALORE STYLE | KALEJI MASALA CURRY | DECCAN’S PAKWAN
Ingredients for kaleji Masala:
- Kaleeji (1 set)
- Oil (2-3 tbsp)
- Ginger garlic paste (2tsp)
- onion (2 medium)
- Tomato (2 big)
- Turmeric powder (2tsp)
- Chilli powder (1 tsp) as per ur taste
- Coriander powder (1tsp)
- Coconut 30gm piece
- Salt as per ur taste
- Corinander leaves 1 cup
- Gram masala powder (1 tsp)
- Bay leaves (2)
- kashmiri red chilli powder(2tsp)
To make masala:
- Grind 1 onion.2. Grind 2 tomato & coconut 30g.
PROCCESS:
- Boil kaleeji with salt & turmeric. Upto 5 min. till water gets dry.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaves,chopped onion fry on medium heat until golden brown.
3.Add ginger garlic paste fry for 1 min & add turmeric powder, chilli powder , coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, & add some water. - Add Boiled kaleeji . saute for a minute.
- Add coconut & tomato paste.
6.Add garam masala & some water . & close the lid. For 1 wishtle. - Garnish it with some fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti & rice.
