Creamy & Cheesy WHITE SAUCE PASTA | صلصة بيضاء باستا | सफेद सॉस पास्ता | DECCAN’S PAKWAN
INGREDIENTS:
1. Penne Pasta: (400 gms)
2. Salt to taste
3. 1/2 tsp oil
4. Butter: 2 tsp
5. Onion (Chopped): 1 small
6. Carrot (Chopped): 1 small
7. Corns: 50g
8. Black pepper powder: ½ tsp
9. Green Peas: 2 tbsp
10. Crushed garlic: 6-7 cloves
To Make SAUCE:
1. Butter: 4 tbsp
2. Maida: 4 tbsp
3. Milk: 4 cups
4. Salt: ½ tsp
5. Black pepper powder: ½ tsp
6. Red Chili Flakes: ½ tsp
7. Cooking Cream: 150ml
8. Mozzarella cheese: 4-5 tbsp
process
1. To boil the Pasta, follow the instructions on the packet. OR
2. For 400 gm Pasta, heat 2 liters of water, add salt & oil & bring it to boil.
3. Add the pasta and stir them lightly.
4. Boil it for 5-6 mins, remove just one pasta & check.
5. Drain it and wash it with cold water to stop the cooking.
6. Add 1tsp of oil and mix well to coat the boiled pasta so that they don’t stick.
7. Set it aside.
8. Crush the garlic cloves, cut the carrots and onion.
9. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan add the Crushed garlic & give a stir and fry it on a medium flame for around 30 secs.
10. Add chopped onion, sauté for a min on a medium flame until onion gets slightly translucent.
11. Add the chopped carrots, boiled corns, green peas & cook for about 2-3 min.
12. Add salt & black pepper powder, mix well & keep aside.
13. To prepare white sauce add butter in a kadhai & heat on a medium flame.
14. Add maida (all-purpose flour), mix well & keep tossing it on a low flame for about 2 min.
15. Now start adding the milk gradually & start mixing the mixture to avoid lumps in it, so keep mixing it.
16. After the mixture becomes slightly thick, smooth & add salt, black pepper powder & red chili flakes and mix well & keep cooking the sauce for about 2-3 min.
17. Add cooking cream and cook for about 2-3 min, the consistency of the sauce should not be too thick nor too runny.
18. Add prepared vegetables along with the boiled pasta & mix well until vegetables & pasta are nicely coated with white sauce, so let it cook for about 2-3 min so it will absorb the flavor of the sauce.
19. Now add mozzarella cheese(optional) & mix well & cook for about 2-3 min on a low to medium flame.
Creamy & Cheesy White Sauce Pasta is ready to serve!
