SHAHI CHICKEN QORMA | CHICKEN KORMA | شاهي دجاج قورمة | शाही चिकन कोरमा | DECCAN’S PAKWAN

Ingredinets
For Marination
1. Chicken : 1kg
2. Red chili Powder : 2tsp
3. Pink Salt : 1tsp
4. Ginger & Garlic Paste : 2tsp
5. Curd : 1tbsp

For Gravy
1. Oil : 150ml
2. Onion : 2 big
3. Coriander Powder : 2tsp
4. Whisked curd : 200g
5. Almond (Badam) : 15
6. Cashew (kaju) : 5-6
7. Coconut Powder : 1tbsp
8. Cardamom (Elaichi) : 5-6
9. Bay leaf (TezPatta) : 2
10. Cloves (Laung) : 4
11. Cinnamon (Chakla) : 1
12. Water : 1& ½ cup
13. Garam Masala Powder : ¼ tsp

Process
1. Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, Curd and salt and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the Onion till golden brown & remove Onion in a plate & keep aside.
3. Add Whole Garam masala in the remaining oil & saute for a minute.
4. Add Marinated Chicken & fry on High flame for 3-4 min.
5. Add Coriander Powder & Coconut Powder mix well & cover and cook for about 5-7 min.
6. Add Whisked curd & Grounded almond, cashew paste mix & Cover and cook on high flame for about 7-8min.
7. Now grind the fried onion with ½ cup of water & make a paste.
8. Now add Onion Paste & mix well add water , cover and cook till oil seperates.
9. Add garam masala powder & mix , cook for 3-4 min
