CHANA DAL VADA | MASALA VADA | چنے کی دال کے وڈے | चने की दाल के वड़े | DECCAN’S PAKWAN

Ingredients

  1. Chane ki Dal (Soaked) : 500grm
  2. Onion : 2 Medium
  3. Dill Leaves (soya saag) : 1 bunch
  4. Ginger & Garlic Paste : 1 Tsp
  5. Green Chilli : 3
  6. Red Chilli Powder : 1 Tsp
  7. Turmeric : 1 Tsp
  8. Garam Masala Powder: ¼ Tsp
  9. Coriander Leaves : 1 tbsp
  10. Curry Leaves : 1 tbsp
  11. Pink Salt : 1tsp To Taste
  12. Baking Soda : ¼ Tsp
  13. Oil : For Frying

Process

  1. Soak Dal for 3-4 Hours
  2. In a Grinder add Soaked Chane ki Dal, Green chilli, grind coarsely.
  3. In a Bowl add Coarsly Grinded Dal, Chopped Onion, Ginger & Garlic Paste, Chilli Powder, Turmeic, Salt, Garam masala Powder and Soda.
  4. Mix all the Ingredients and make small balls and keep aside in plate.
  5. Heat Oil in pan for Frying in Medium Flame.
  6. Give vada shape, gently press with hands.
  7. Drop vada one by one slowly in oil, Fry in a medium flame for 1 min and turn other side and fry till golden brown.
  8. Remove vada from the oil.
  9. Serve with Chutney/ketchup.
