BANGALORE STYLE | KALEJI MASALA CURRY | DECCAN’S PAKWAN

Ingredients for kaleji Masala:

  1. Kaleeji (1 set)
  2. Oil (2-3 tbsp)
  3. Ginger garlic paste (2tsp)
  4. onion (2 medium)
  5. Tomato (2 big)
  6. Turmeric powder (2tsp)
  7. Chilli powder (1 tsp) as per ur taste
  8. Coriander powder (1tsp)
  9. Coconut 30gm piece
  10. Salt as per ur taste
  11. Corinander leaves 1 cup
  12. Gram masala powder (1 tsp)
  13. Bay leaves (2)
  14. kashmiri red chilli powder(2tsp)

To make masala:

  1. Grind 1 onion.2. Grind 2 tomato & coconut 30g.

PROCCESS:

  1. Boil kaleeji with salt & turmeric. Upto 5 min. till water gets dry.
  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaves,chopped onion fry on medium heat until golden brown.
    3.Add ginger garlic paste fry for 1 min & add turmeric powder, chilli powder , coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, & add some water.
  3. Add Boiled kaleeji . saute for a minute.
  4. Add coconut & tomato paste.
    6.Add garam masala & some water . & close the lid. For 1 wishtle.
  5. Garnish it with some fresh coriander leaves.
  6. Serve hot with roti & rice.
